What is Payment Assist?
Car repair finance by Payment Assist was designed to ease the burden if an unexpected bill arises from taking your car to a garage for a repair, parts replacement or service. You may have already budgeted for certain repairs, but when unexpected faults are identified, potentially deeming your car unfit for the road, you may need support to pay for car repairs.
Payment Assist help you by spreading the cost of this work over a 3 month period.
How to the payments work?
Simply ask us if Payment Assist is available. We will then make the easy application in seconds, online. You will then receive an email from Payment Assist to advise if payment support can be provided.
You will pay a deposit of 25% of the total bill via your debit card on the day, followed by three more equal monthly payments from the debit card.
Is there a catch?
There is no catch. Quite simply, rather than incurring the cost of borrowing money from other sources, use Payment Assist and pay no interest or fees on the funds you need, providing your payments are made in line with the payment plan.
Is there a check on my personal credit file?
Payment Assist simply check the card you are using has enough funds to pay the initial deposit. Payment Assist also check that you card is registered to your address. There is no ‘footprint’ left on your credit status.
In some circumstances we may need to carry out a full credit check, but we will ask for your permission before this takes place.
Are they any charges to pay?
There are no additional charges. The payment plan is totally interest and fee free.
